Chorister of the Month

Rhonda Jefferson

thumb_rhonda

In her own words, Rhonda has never been shy. Growing up a Methodist, singing both at home around the piano and in the Sunday School Anniversaries, her musicianship training started very early. She starred in several meaty roles before she left primary school, notably as Captain Blood. At Cremorne Girls High, she was in the choir, the madrigal group, and the lead in 'Trial by Jury'.

For several years after graduating from uni, Rhonda was too busy being a wife, mother and physiotherapist to indulge much in her favourite hobby, although she was a founding member of the Manly Warringah Symphony Choir and a player in the Mackellar Theatrical Society.

Rhonda has lived permanently in the Highlands since 2001, has had fun playing various roles with the Highlands Theatre Group, and has finally settled into the soprano section of Serendipity. In her spare time, she is a mum of three and President of the CWA in Exeter.
